A while ago I made a ghost ship with vintage photos embedded into the sails. The main body of the ship is paper mache which I stitched into adding strands of floating fabric, beads and tiny seashells. The piece is all hand stitched and took many hours to complete. Once finished I started to make a little armada of smaller ships each one hand stitched and individual.
I have an yearning to now make  the ship that transported Dracula to Whitby making it very gothic and brooding, I just wish there were more hours in the day.
