I adore creating pieces that evoke a sense of mystery and wonder I have always been creative and even as a child would spend hours on a little painting or textile piece.
My interests which include costume design, history, classic literature and fairy tales are reflected in my work and I hope that these pieces reveal a little bit of me.
I like nothing better than scouring vintage shops and markets for bits and pieces that inspire me. Some of my finds have been wonderful, I recently came across some vintage wedding silk that I'm looking forward to  creating some lovely things with.
In my textile pieces I sometimes add an old charm or found object I love the idea of these little worn objects having a new life.
Lately I have been concentrating on my folklore and fairy-tale pieces, some of which are wearable art and others are free standing textile pieces.
